Available on Big Fish Games.

After many years of being written, developed, re-written, and re-developed, and spit-polished more times than I can count (which resulted in many wet computer monitors). The latest/greatest Arvale title for PC is now available in its entirety from Big Fish Games.

Here is a description:

“Legends say he saved the world. Too bad he doesn’t remember, because to save it again, Duncan must retrieve his memories, in this exciting 20-hour RPG full of quests and hilarious dialogues!”

Storyline

Duncan Forsythe is the royal gardener of Entoque Castle. He spends his days battling nasty flower beds, hunting down poisonous weeds, and occasionally doing his Royal Majesty’s laundry.

Meanwhile, the buzz around the castle is that Duncan once saved the world. This is news to Duncan. He can’t remember a thing that happened over the last few years. He definitely doesn’t remember saving the world. Unfortunately, he may have to – lest the world get thrown into turmoil yet again. Dark forces are rising, and the key to defeating them lies in Duncan’s memory – the memory that is now scattered throughout the world of Arvale.

Take him on an epic quest to retrieve those memories and thwart certain doom for the entire world, all the while battling monsters, exploring dungeons, challenging dragons, rescuing fair maidens, gathering friends and foes, and strangely enough, talking with wheelbarrows.

With all the games below, you can download full versions of previous titles I have worked on.

Yes, everything below is completely free. 🙂

RPG – Arvale: Journey of Illusion

‘Arvale contains over 20 hours of gameplay, 6 immense continents, several hyperboles, 280 maps, 200 monsters, hundreds of items (including wheelbarrows!), several typos, and thousands of laughs!’

Install: Simply download the installer, and it should set it up on your computer just fine. (PC only, I’m afraid). Download the new installer: here [updated 2-18-11 to work on more machines thanks to AuntIggy and xanaphia ;)]

The full game in its original form, perfect for those who don’t have an iPhone nor a Windows Mobile device. Compatible with pretty much any Windows PC.  It’s a bit scaled back from its recent iPhone incarnation, so you’ll be looking at a windowed 320×240 resolution and oldskool XM tracks for music, but aside from that it is virtually the same game.

More info on its official PDAmill Game Studios page: here

Runs flawless on Mac if you use an app called Crossover.

Graphic Adventure – Broken Blueprint

Broken Blueprint is about a tribe of Frogs and Snakes living together in The Caves. You play as Hunka, the tribe’s Witchdoctor 🙂 It’s very reminiscent of the old Lucasarts Graphic Adventure games such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max, etc, you’ll be right at home with Broken Blueprint.

Broken Blueprint 2

Experienced Adventure gamers can possibly breeze through the game in about 10-30 minutes. If you spend your time Looking at, Grabbing, Trying out inventory items on things, and Talking with each and every character and object (including every single Torch) in the game, you could spend over an hour or so just reading all the different responses.

RPG – NWN: Escape from Hellenvyrde

This is a short Neverwinter Nights Module I whipped up using the Aurora Engine, which is a fantastic engine and toolset.

You wake up in a Jail Cell of the Hellenvyrde Dungeons and have no idea how you ended up there, as you seem to have lost your memory. You’ll need to escape the dungeons. It’s relatively short and you should be able to run through it in about 15-30 minutes.

You can also just watch a video of the entire game being played through: here.

Install: Well, you’ll need to have the full version of Neverwinter Nights from Bioware. From there, just download the module file and drop it into your modules folder. Start the game and select other modules, then Escape from Hellenvyrde. You can download the module: HERE

More info on Neverwinter Nights from Bioware: here

(Apparently, there is a mac version of Neverwinter Nights, but if you can’t find it; the PC version runs really well on Mac if you use an app called Crossover)

Everything related to Neverwinter Nights and Bioware is copyright and owned by them. I only created the Dialog, Scripts, and Level Design.

Music Game – Catchy Cadence

‘Catchy Cadence is a Rhythm-Music-Action Game with over 12 separate games and songs to play along to! It’s simple and extremely FUN!’

Install: Simply download the installer, and it should set it up on your computer just fine. (PC only, I’m afraid).  Download the installer: here

Controls: Pretty simple, mostly arrow keys and Space Key/Mouseclick. Mouse works for menus.

The full game in its original form. The game was originally designed for decent to high-end Windows Mobile devices, which quickly died out when HTC took over the market with lower-end processors. So the music timing can vary across the board on weaker Windows PCs, if you have a recent or high-end PC you’ll have no problems.
