It looks like the fine folks at PDAmill Game Studios are turning this into a yearly event. 🙂
You can now go pick up Anthelion: The Galactic Alliance and Arvale II: Ocean of Time for FREE. I’m totally biased (because I wrote the story and music for both games), but they are fantastic games, so you should really go pick them up.
More info on the PDAmill Game Studios site: here.
They also have free PC versions of Arvale 1, Anthelion II, Flux Challenge, GameBox Asia and GameBox Solitaire there too, so be sure and check them out.
I’ll get them added to my Free Games page as soon as I can with some more info on each game. What I’ve noticed so far:
Arvale II’s GUI and gfx are from the iPhone version, which looks pretty slick, but it’s still using the Windows Mobile music and SFX (so the download is really small).
Anthelion is in widescreen so it’s gfx are pretty nice, even better than the Windows Mobile version, but it still has the default controls (which are dumb). When you pick it up and start playing, be sure and go to the settings screen first and turn off Roll and turn off inverse controls, you’ll be happy you did 😉
In both games it seems arrow keys work fine and numbers 1,2,3,4 on the keyboard work as the action buttons. Enter key seems to work great in Arvale II as the Use key as well.
