Took an incredibly long nap last night to kill of any remaining jetlag.
Woke up today and spent the afternoon with Hungary’s favorite celebrity, Vágó István, discussing my recent adventures, international politics, terrible airline service, classic music and other awesome topics. I was only able to record a small bit of video with him, which he graciously gave me permission to post. I’ll put it at the end of this post as it’s slightly amusing
I thought it was interesting that Vágó István believes I should sell my life story to Woody Allen. Either he thinks it’s that interesting or that depressing
Went down to the suburb of Budapest, Erd, to partake in a party involving several Japanese ex-pats, to practice my Japanese and my 酒 sake drinking skills. This lasted most of the evening.
Erd is a quaint little suburb full of cats and dirt roads. That’s all that can really be said about it. The picture at the beginning of this post is the nicest Erd will ever look
I wish I took some pictures, but my G1 disappeared into the gadget black hole of the Nav N Go offices. I’ll have to go back on Monday to retrieve it. I think they’re trying to blackmail me into coming back to work for them.
And the video with Vágó István (don’t worry, it’s in English) as promised:
