Anyway, here’s where I ended up. More screen-time than I expected, honestly. I ain’t complaining.

More descriptively, drinking in Asakusa with awesome people, doing everything but shopping in Yurakucho, bathing in all sorts of weird stuff in Hakone, getting buried in the sand at Zushi Beach, being cheap while geeking out in Odaiba, and singing Karaoke all over the place.

This is a fun video showing a few things I’ve done over the past couple months. Hanging out on a boat in Tokyo (near Odaiba) with tons of awesome people, just before it started raining, which then made us escape to Harajuku and spend the rest of the night at a British Pub called the Hub.
But I’m super proud of being able to hang out at a BBQ in Chiba with one of my real-life heroes Khatzumoto from All Japanese All the Time and Tkyosam from here
The video is also filled with other random mischief involving trains, iPads, umbrellas, and of course, Beer.

Out in the Japanese countryside, in the middle of winter, it’s cold and snowy. But at least there is an ocean nearby. With insane Japanese people trying to surf in it.
